Drew Knight Aims For The Stars

'Stars' is a great example of how music is developing at the moment. It is making the most of the cyclical nature of art and playing on a sound that is in the midst of a revival at the moment. Let's be honest, since Stranger Things season 4 came out, none of us have been able to get 'Running Up That Hill' out of our heads.

The timing of Stars is great in the sense that it touches on the synth craze of the 80's, yet keeps a very modern twist. It seems like the perfect track to drop in a set to get the crowd going. It's naturally upbeat, and this may be since it was produced by Bradley Denniston, who takes credit for the Lego Movie soundtrack.
