Kodiak Arcade & Cabin Fever Orchestra Team Up

No Reason To Change (Single)

Cabin Fever Orchestra

Kodiak Arcade and Cabin Fever Orchestra have come together for the release of their heartfelt new single, 'No Reason To Change'. This poignant pop track, enriched by a lush orchestral accompaniment, delves into the universal longing for acceptance. The song’s message is clear: despite our flaws and imperfections, we can be loved unconditionally. With its gentle encouragement to drop defences and embrace vulnerability, the track carries a powerful message about trust, connection, and self-acceptance.

At the core of Cabin Fever Orchestra is Graeme Cornies, a celebrated composer known for his work in television soundtracks such as 'Paw Patrol' and 'Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood'. 'No Reason To Change' marks a unique fusion of Cornies' two musical worlds: pop songwriting and orchestral composition. The result is a seamless blend of genres that showcases Cornies' versatility.

The recording process for 'No Reason To Change' started with simple guitar and vocals, eventually expanding into an intricate string arrangement. Graeme enlisted longtime collaborators Joshua Van Tassel (producer/composer) and Drew Jurecka (violin/viola), alongside Ben Trigg on cello and Bruno Migliari on double bass, to bring depth and texture to the track. The result is a beautifully polished final product, mastered by Heather Kirby at Dreamlands Mastering, where orchestral elements and pop sensibilities merge in a deeply emotive soundscape.

As someone who has spent over a decade reworking Fred Rogers' iconic music for 'Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood', Graeme’s connection to Rogers' philosophy of self-acceptance is clearly reflected in 'No Reason To Change'. The song reminds listeners that love doesn’t require transformation. Whether heard as a romantic ballad or as a message of unconditional love between parent and child, 'No Reason To Change' is a beautiful reminder of the power of acceptance.
