Fizzy Blood Go Mental In London
Published
Fizzy blood... sounds like a science experiment gone wrong. But are in fact an upcoming Rock band from Leeds who headlined The Garage in London last week.
With an unfortunate crowd setting, Fizzy Blood urged the small crowd to come closer which may have been a bad idea revealed at the end of the gig. The guys came on stage confident and got straight down to business, putting all their energy into this performance it was clear that the band didn’t care about the lack of attendees and put on a damn good show for the lucky ones who did attend.
Thrashing their guitars around, opening beer bottles with mouths and pulling those ever so cool rock star faces (stick to the bedroom mirror guys) Fizzy Blood conveyed a huge amount of potential tonight; they look great! Their drummer is insane! And they have the awesome stage presence; however their sound could have matched up to the energy they were portraying. Fizzy Blood are noticeably a start up band as they have great material and know how to work a stage, yet at times the sound was a bit... anti-climatic.
Clinging on to the term “start up band” isn’t a bad thing, if these guys keep on performing and practicing the way that they do, in a few years time they will be the “go to band”. I feel very lucky that I have been a part of Fizzy Blood’s journey to awesomeness and can’t wait to next see them live.
Performing “January Sun” as their last song of the night it’s clear that all of the above is no longer relevant, Fizzy Blood go mental! Trashing their set and stumbling off stage, these guys have definitely made their mark and if you need any convincing at all as to why this band are great then “January Sun” is your answer.
