Juan El Grande Releases Debut EP

The EP features 5 tracks, each telling a unique story and drawing the listener in and striking a chord within them. El Grande’s imaginative storytelling is evident in tracks like “Another Hero’s Gone”, which narrates the tale of a Formula 1 driver meeting his fate, and “Born To Be”, where he takes on the perspective of a local bar songstress. These stories are complemented by impressive guitar skills and unique instrumentals that set the songs apart.

El Grande kick-started his career in 2022 with his first single, “Father”, a beautiful tribute to his own father. This track, featuring a beautiful piano intro, gradually transforms into a soft rock piece, offering a quieter interlude in the middle of the EP. His passion for music and desire to share it with others is palpable in “Will 2 Play”, a song with psychedelic vibes and an infectious beat.

“Locked Inside”, delves into the realities of prison life with a humorous stance. The catchy intro immediately draws listeners in, making them want to dance despite the serious subject matter.

Inspired by the music of his youth, El Grande lists Peter Frampton, Pink Floyd, and Slade—among many others—as important influences that have guided his passion for music throughout his life. Describing himself as “a music lover through and through”, he says making music was “a logical consequence” that arose from his lifelong passion.

With its blend of personal storytelling and diverse musical influences, Juan El Grande’s debut EP ‘Discover Now’ is a promising introduction to an artist who has much to offer.
