H!ccup Steps Into The Spotlight

Superstar (Single)

H!ccup

Emerging from a decade-long journey through the production and composition world, H!ccup is poised to make a significant impact with his solo debut. Influenced by the vibrant Chicago scene, particularly the work of Young Chop, H!ccup's story began when he downloaded FL Studio in 2010. Over the years, he has explored a rich variety of sounds, from Trap to Pop, carving out a unique space in the music landscape.

In 2014, H!ccup's creative path took a pivotal turn when he collaborated with the vocal duo Artminaty. Working on an EP and producing an entire album for them, H!ccup's exposure to different musical styles led him to discover his own vocal prowess. His voice, reminiscent of Muddy Monk and occasionally hinting at Laurent Voulzy, adds a distinctive touch to his sound.

H!ccup's music is a fascinating blend of French music heritage, 2010s Trap, and 1980s Synth-pop. His work creates a dreamy, singular universe where apparent naivety conceals a more intricate, underground world filled with dreams and inner conflicts. Despite these complexities, his unwavering faith infuses his music with a sunny, hopeful quality.

His debut solo EP is eagerly anticipated, with "Superstar" featuring Artmin and Fernandiz serving as its first single.

"Superstar" is an engaging and upbeat song that immediately grabs attention. The energy and vitality of the track are infectious, and it’s clear that the trip had a great time creating it.

As H!ccup, Artmin, and Fernandiz infuse their music with the essence of feeling like a superstar, "Superstar" similarly invites listeners to embrace their own moment of glory. The track's exuberance and catchy melody create a celebratory atmosphere, encouraging everyone to feel like a star in their own right.

For fans of both nostalgic Synth-pop and modern Trap, H!ccup's "Superstar" offers a refreshing and exhilarating experience.
