Chrissie Hynde, Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbot, Augustines, Kevin Bridges & Sadler's Wells confirmed for Latitude 2014... Latitude is hugely excited to announce one of the all-time legends of rock ‘n’ roll and one-woman powerhouse, Chrissie Hynde (The Pretenders) will be gracing the Obelisk Arena. Latitude is also thrilled to announce that Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott will take to the Obelisk Arena, will be back together reminiscent of their Beautiful South days when they released a string of critically-acclaimed records. Playing exclusively at Latitude is the fastest selling artist in Iceland's history, the mighty singer songwriter Ásgeir. This year sees the iArena with James Holden and Young Fathers on the Friday and Saturday night respectively. Also making their Latitude debuts will be Tycho and MNEK. Latitude is delighted to have recent 4AD signings Future Islands, classic indie quartet Childhood, the bold hybrid of electronic duo Solomon Grey as headliners, with Glass Animals and Years & Years joining them
at this year’s festival. The side-splitting line-up in Latitude’s phenomenal Comedy Arena grows ever larger with the addition of Scotsman Kevin Bridges. Soho Theatre extends their programme with more exciting new additions - Sam Simmons and Late Night Gimp Fight. The UK’s hottest musical comedians Jonny & The Baptists will appear with more of their trademark blend of riotous rock ‘n’ roll, satirical soul and anthemic absurdity. Plus so much more.

Wilderness Festival reveal late night revelry with DJs, Cabaret & Candlelight, Bonfire Stages, Film, Fire Spectaculars, & Much More... This year, Wilderness will keep the celebration going all hours with an exciting schedule of late night programming that will thrill and electrify even the most hardy of partygoers and keep you dancing till dawn. First up, the Pandaemonium DJ Stage, which will be “a secret hidden valley of revelers and dancing feet”, with a different theme for each night. For ‘Altered States’, festivalgoers are invited to brush off their everyday woes by transforming themselves to join the hypnotic rhythms of the Secret Valley. The following night disco kings Horse Meat Disco will lead the charge for a ‘Disco Renaissance’, enlisting Greg Wilson and Futureboogie in their mission to set dancefloors alight in the wee hours. On Sunday, the valley will embody “The Cosmos”, with the UK’s only Astronomers Ball to take place in a secret woodland valley. In addition, the acclaimed theatre company Petersham Playhouse will be bringing The Juke Joint to Wilderness, a specially constructed Rhythm and Blues barrel house run by the infamous witch doctor Mama Gris Gris. Finally, for those with a world music bent, there’s The Styx Stage, hosted by those late-night experts in mayhem Rumpus, Artful Badger and the Shangri La Superstar himself, Chris Tofu, all bringing their idiosyncratic party-starting nous into the equation. Throw in the finest storytellers, firewalkers, luxury hot tubs, moonlight walks and live art painting, among many other frivolities and you have an experience that is completely and uniquely Wilderness.

Jack Johnson, Paloma Faith, Radkey and more join Calling Festival... Jack Johnson will make a Calling Festival debut this summer. The acclaimed singer-songwriter will perform hits spanning his five studio albums, including three UK Number One albums, such as ‘Better Together’, ‘Sitting Waiting Wishing’ and ‘You and Your Heart’. Paloma Faith also makes a first appearance at Calling Festival. Expect hits including ‘New York’, ‘Picking Up The Pieces’ and ‘Stone Cold Sober’ to be big crowd pleasers. Also joining the Sunday bill is Grammy-Award winning, multi-million selling India Arie. Saturday’slineup sees hotly tipped Radkey, rockers Heaven’s Basement and Lonely The Brave, Australian indie four-piece The Jezabels, indie-funk band No Hot Ashes, Bristol R&B group Tax The Heat, American singer-songwriter Chantal Claret, power pop band The 3 Dudes and fresh from supporting Status Quo on tour, Toseland all join the bill.

Festival No. 6 reveals it's first arts & culture line-up... The multi award-winning Festival No.6 today announces its first brilliant arts and culture line-up, including acclaimed best-selling authors, comedians, poets, film-makers, artists, a new cinema and another new stage in the heart of Portmeirion. They join an outstanding music line-up that already includes Beck, London Grammar, Bonobo and more. With more cultural names still to be revealed, including some very prolific headliners, the 2014 cultural offering looks set to the most exciting to date. Festival No.6 takes place over the weekend of the 5,6,7 September, 2014 in the stunning village of Portmeirion, Wales, home of cult TV series The Prisoner. Charlie Higson, Dylan Thomas tribute feat Rhys Ifans and Murray Lachlan Young, Julian Cope, Kevin Rowlands, Jonathan Meades, Shlomo, Josh Widdicombe, Henning Wehn, Jay Rayner, exclusive Shane Meadows screening, Stuart Maconie, Bez’s Question Time, Carnival No.6 and return of Brythoniaid Male Voice Choir all confirmed.

DJ Cassidy, Kiesza, Jacob Bankks and more added to Wireless line up... Live Nation today announced a host of hot new acts confirmed to play across the Wireless Festival line up. DJ Cassidy. Kiesza, Jacob Banks, Krept & Konan, Mack Wilds and M.O all join the incredible bill. The Wireless Festival now boasts a line up which includes 6 of the acts in this weeks UK Top 20 singles chart. The tenth Wireless Festival takes place for the very first time at London’s Finsbury Park and Birmingham’s Perry Park, Alexander Stadium, on Friday 4thJuly – Sunday 6th July. Kanye West, Drake and Bruno Mars will headline whilst OutKast, Pharrell Williams, Rudimental and many more of the very hottest acts in music today are also already announced to play across the weekend.
