INTRODUCING: TIGERCUB
SUBBA-CULTCHA.COM SAYS: "Grunge-influenced rock music seems to be coming back into the public's consciousness again, fortunately not the over-bloated and mediocre Nu-Grunge of the 90's, but the quiet/loud/quiet alt-rock influenced side that can genuinely effect people (and not just soundtrack their woe-is-me existences).
Tigercub along with allusondrugs, have created something new and fresh with a few borrowed stylistic ideas of their musical heroes. There's the discordent guitar work of Kurt Cobain via the Pixies, the caustic melodies of The Vines given the psych-pop melancholy of Stony Sleep, all backed with the rock solid instrumentation of Dinosaur Pile-Up. A very tasty proposition indeed!" Tigercub have announced details of their debut single. ‘Blue Blood’ will be released on Raygun Records on 5th May. https://soundcloud.com/raygunmusic/tigercub-blue-blood
