Ian Bareham’s Vocals Shine On ‘Afraid To Bleed’

Afraid To Bleed (Single)

Ian Bareham

With a stunning vocal delivery akin to Damian Rice, UK singer-songwriter is a force of talent I'm pleased to have come by. Afraid To Bleed is the latest offering from Ian, with warm guitar and subtle ambient textures throughout. But it’s the vocals that take center-stage on this one - in particular on the refrain ‘afraid to bleed’, which sends shivers down my spine. I love how the song erupts two thirds of the way through into a fuller musical arrangement complete with drums. It’s a magnificent composition the artist should be proud of.

Drawing inspiration from artists such as Glen Hansard, Vance Joy, and Damien Rice, Ian Bareham infuses his music with honest tones and emotive guitar lines, crafting poignant songs that explore themes of love and loss. Recently concluding a UK tour supporting Ché Aimee Dorval, Ian is now focused on preparing a series of new single releases scheduled for 2024. Next up, Ian is set to release a vibrant and uplifting new track titled 'Call Me In The Morning' this summer…
