Jejune Release "Have A Nice Day"

Have A Nice Day (Single)

Jejune

Jejune are an exciting new indie band, and they follow in the footsteps of other British indie groups who have pushed themselves outside of the box. They are not copying anything else going on in the scene, instead relying purely on their own instincts and writing their own story. Their new track, "Have A Nice Day", is evidence of this statement.

"Have A Nice Day" has a cool and exciting feel to it. The structure is unorthodox and the many sounds that emerge create a sound that is unique. The band is still relatively new to the scene and only have one other track available to stream on Spotify, that being "Boogie Juice", yet they do not come across as though they are just starting out. You could easily compare this Leeds based outfit to other bands who have many more years of experience under their belt.

Many artists have used this same title before, including Bon Jovi and Stereophonics, however, the narratives are all arguably different. That is the case with this track too, which stands out with its distinct wordplay. Moreover, the band tells a story which is personally their own and it resonates with a feel-good aura. Also, the music could arguably make this track a summer anthem!
