Ripsime Unleashes Her Unique & Encompassing Dark Electronic Pop

Wicke & Wise

Ripsime

British-Armenian artist and producer Ripsime emerges with fervor, introducing her latest single, 'Wicked & Wise,' as the beacon guiding her newest musical endeavor, the EP "Capsule I: Wicked and Wise." Recorded during a poignant period of self-reflection and apprehension in Armenia, this project crystallises her emotions during a time of uncertainty and upheaval. Ripsime immersed herself in self-recording these tracks while amidst locations she feared losing access to, amidst geopolitical unrest that physically altered the landscapes she traversed.

The lead single, "Wicked & Wise," unfurls a tapestry of dark, brooding electronic pop, reminiscent of the ethereal echoes of Elder Island and the haunting enigma of Kate Bush. However, Ripsime's sonic amalgamation ascends beyond conventions, infusing a cutting-edge grit that boldly rises above the cacophony of contemporary sounds.

'Wicked & Wise' resonates as an anthem of personal evolution amidst turbulent times. Ripsime's emotive depth is palpable, woven intricately into each note and lyrical thread. Her vocals, a mesmerising blend of vulnerability and strength, guide the listener through an enigmatic soundscape, inviting introspection into the darkness and the resilience that emerges from within.

Ripsime emerges as a distinctive voice in the alt-pop sphere, wielding her music as a vessel for personal and societal reflection.
