The Cuza Deliver A Raw Cathartic Energy With Angry New Single 'Bones'

Bones (Single)

The Cuza

Manchester has indeed produced a real mixed bag, 'genre-blending', band with The Cuza. New single 'Bones' is arguably the most 'rocky' of their singles to date (the reflective balladic refrains of 'A Life Full Of Colour'; the indie pop accusatory belter that is 'Leeches') - cue belting drums with indie rock guitars driving you into the track. It's an angry and pissed off "Anthem to the lost" and despite all that raw cathartic energy it's also massively catchy.

Transylvanian Manc-adoptee Tudor Todut's vocals are smooth and clear as glass (as always) but this time with an angry resonance. In a live environment you can imagine the crowd getting all crazy bouncing up and down to this track. We can all relate to the energy from 'Bones' - especially now we are clearly in a country steeped in corruption where normal everyday people are struggling to live. Maddening.

Angry and punchy without being an out and out polemic, 'Bones' is more of a channelled cathartic protest and a shout out to those of us on our absolute arses. Stream this song, channel that anger and rip the flesh off those 'Bones'. Vent your spleen! Yes I highly recommend.
