Paul Fishman Celebrates Those Of Us Who Are Gifted And "Dysfunktional"

Dysfunktional (Single)

Paul Fishman

Paul Fishman is a bone fide 80's pop star (from his time with the band ReFlex) and is a globally renowned electronic music maestro to the present day: writing and producing music for film and TV and more, working with more famous names than you could ever imagine. If a musician has been there, seen it all and 'bought the T shirt' it is certainly Paul Fishman.

Taken from the new album "Abnormal" out later this year - his latest single "Dysfunktional" is a surprisingly danceable and appealingly kooky song. True to Fishman's love for electronics, an electronic 'heartbeat' drives the track, underscored with funky guitars and (- later -) a jazzy NYC saxophone vibe is thrown into the mix. Complex rhythms and a melting pot of lyrics - add in some spoken words - and it all seems to work rather magnificently. Only true and experienced artists can pull together such eclectic elements and make them into something so creative and credible.

Moreover, the track is also a huge tribute and celebration of those of us 'on the spectrum' which is really rather cool indeed. Fishman himself (and pretty much all the people appearing in the video, apparently) are all part of the talented and gifted 'dysfunktional' club, in one sense or another. So yeah, stream or download this track and look out for the album "Abnormal" coming soon. Highly recommend.
