Discover Milo Merah's Heartbreaking New Single 'Linger'

I’ve always had a thing for deep, rich, heart-wrenching vocals and Milo Merah just secured his spot in my beloved pantheon with his voice reminding me of Kwabs (and Sugababes’ Mutya Buena is a fan too as she praised his “soulful” instrument).

In warm whispers, the British independent artist sings in his new single Linger about the end of a troubled relationship, “recalling the uncertainty of [their] final months” and the “arguments [that] made [him] feel like [he] was at war”.

Beautifully enhanced by a slow-burning production from AUR3LIAN and Homebodi, the atmospheric track evokes with melancholy a sense of longing but also deep sorrow, punctuated with a soaring outro reaching for one last glimpse of hope.

Linger is now accompanied by a hypnotic visualiser by Kiran Sodhi Kalsi-Ghatoure & James Lee from ROCOCO, filmed in London’s deserted streets during the lockdown.
