Blues-Infused Rockers, Jed Potts & The Hillman Hunters, Are Here With Their Latest Album! 'Swashbucklin'

Fan of blues-infused rock music? You’re going to want to hear about this! Jed Pott & The Hillman Headhunters are coming in hot with their latest album, ‘Swashbucklin’’! With a super cool, laid back vibe that keep it rocking, you do not want to miss out on these guys!

Giving us consistent quality riffs and vocals, ‘Swashbucklin’’ is an album that sets a high standard from the very first second. Kicking us off with the self-titled track to open the album, ‘Swashbucklin’’ as a song contains some of the best songwriting around, delivered with a musical and vocal performance that keeps you drawn in. A more than worthy introduction to the band, it sets the scene perfectly for what their music is all about; and it doesn’t stop there. The second track, ‘It Won’t Be Long’, carries on the theme of expertly made music, and injects intensity into the feel of the album, with riffs that change pace underpinned by a passionate vocal performance. Having started strong, it sets high hopes for the rest of ‘Swashbucklin’’.

After a strong start, going into the middle parts of the album, I wondered if a change in approach would be on the horizon, and with ‘Splash Down!’, Jed Potts & The Hillman Hunters have delivered just that – a faster paced song with quirky riffs, bouncing drums, and uniquely, no lyrics. A welcome change in style, which helps keep the passionate vocal performances feeling fresh and exciting. Following up with songs like ‘Where’s Your Man’ and the lead single, ‘Won’t Be No Use’, the band prove that they’re able to change styles and revert back to their signature sound with ease, holding interest in both creative processes proving that their quality of sound and delivery is no fluke.

More than deserving of your time and a place on your playlist, ‘Swashbucklin’’ possess some of the best blues-infused rock I’ve heard recently, bringing together an abundance of energy, skill and musical prowess to keep it all together. ‘Swashbucklin’’ is one to definitely keep an eye on; not many bands can produce good music with the frequency that these guys can, so make sure you do not miss out
