Arliston Debut Stunning New EP "Even In The Shade"

Even In The Shade

Arliston

With a series of successful releases under their belt already, rising UK indie duo Arliston have unveiled their new EP, “Even In The Shade”, and it’s another sublime project to add to their collection. Formerly a three-piece band, Arliston are now a duo made up of Jack Ratcliffe (vocals/guitar/keyboards) and George Hasbury (guitar/keyboards) after their drummer departed. And although this is their first music in their new incarnation, they haven’t missed a beat on this new project. In fact, it has allowed them to try something different and evolve their sound.

With a more stripped-back feel, the project is five tracks of truly captivating music. It features previously released singles “Mothering” and “Hold My Wine”, which are both brilliant and have equally impressive music videos. Among the new tracks, there is the breathtaking “Sydenham Place”, which highlights Jack’s vocals against a riveting piano, while “Tombstone Teeth” and “TV Dinner” are subtle yet gripping and add the perfect finishing touches to the EP.

All tracks were written and produced by Arliston, which makes the quality of the EP feel even more special. Their previously released project, "The Ground Might Disappear", which was released earlier this year, accumulated over a million Spotify streams, and if there’s any justice “Even In The Shade” will achieve even more, as this is a stunning project from start to finish and features some of their best music to date.
