Goodvibes Sound Invite Us To Join Them On Their Trip To 'The Institute'

The Institute

Goodvibes Sound

You may not be familiar with Goodvibes Sound and yet they are slowly but surely making a name for themselves in the music industry. The two friends behind Goodvibes Sound formed the band back in 2019 and have been on the upswing since then. Already recognized by BBC radio, they played on the Main Stage at The Big Weekend and shared the bill with Nile Rodgers & Chic.

They released their first full album on October 14th titled 'The Institute'. Disco, psychedelic, synth-pop, upbeat, fun.. are only a few words to describe this album that span across different genres. The album is composed of 16 tracks, making it easy for everyone to pick a favourite.

For me, it's definitely 'Stay For One More Night' (though I admit it's a close-up with 'Wasting Time') as I'm all in for groovy, disco, pop and funk tracks. More than just music, the 16 tracks from the album represent a journey - the one of a person feeling lost and alienated and ends up finding the mythical Goodvibes Institute. It is also a journey Angus and Alex went through, from feeling lost to walking a new path together and finding themselves in music and presence.
