JASMINEGOLD Share Outstanding Debut Album "Serpent"

US hip-hop duo JASMINEGOLD may have only been on the music scene for just over a year, but they’ve made a huge splash early on. The duo consists of David Nights and KJ, and they’ve already surpassed 200,000 views on TikTok and generated over 50,000 streams on Spotify as an unsigned act. They’ve also received widespread acclaim online, so it’s clear these are not your ordinary 19-year-old musicians.

Having previously started gaining traction with singles such as “Crisis”, “Conscious” and “Broadcast”, the rising duo recently unveiled a full body of work in the form of debut album "Serpent". It’s a must-hear project comprising 13 high-quality hip-hop tracks that pay homage to the golden era of ‘90s hip-hop but with an interesting modern twist. Standout tracks include “Backseat Driver” and “Kitty”, but the whole project is extremely cohesive and so is best consumed in its entirety to get the full "Serpent" experience.

Their lyrics are sharp throughout and their ability on the mic is undeniable, with the album packed with varied and dynamic rap flows. But what’s also impressive is that the whole album was self-produced, and they took care of the mixing and mastering themselves too. Able to do it all, JASMINEGOLD are clearly an act with a huge future ahead who will surely achieve many great things over the next few years if "Serpent" is anything to go by.
