Bigman & The Birdseeds New Single ‘I Don’t Wanna Go To Work... NEVER!’

Bristol-based rock trio Bigman & The Birdseeds have recently dropped their brand-new single ‘I Don’t Wanna Go To Work… NEVER!’, a big F.U to the establishment and the conventions of the working world.

Bigman himself sings resentful and angry lyrics about being forced to wear a suit, being paid too little to afford food, and being stripped of individuality. His voice has depth and substance, as well as some raw grit as he snarls through the verses. When the chorus hits and the title of the track is the lyrical focus, he belts out each note in an anthemic way, calling on all working people to join him and his Birdseeds in the fight for revolution of the way things work in society.

Matteo provides unique and impactful drumbeats through the song, from a light tapping beat at a certain point, to the energetic, heavy marching-band style beat towards the end of the song. Bigman provides some thrashed guitar chords, played violently and recklessly, and it’s absolutely brilliant. The bassist holds the song together reliably, ensuring that the guitar doesn’t wander too far into chaos as it marches through the streets (and the beats) in protest.
