The Libertines Reunite to play Hyde Park on July 5th... The Libertines have announced that they will be headlining the second night of British Summer Time at Hyde Park on Saturday 5th July. This is the first time the band have played together since the Reading/Leeds festival in 2010. Support comes from The Pogues, Spiritualized, Maximo Park, The Enemy, Swim Deep, Reverend And The Makers, Wolf Alice… Tickets go on sale on Friday 2nd May at 9am.
Bestival announces Reggae Roots stage... We like to keep everyone on their toes at Bestival, moving things around and adding to the action, so we’re very pleased indeed to announce something crisp, brand new and good for you at this year’s Desert Island Disco - hail the Reggae Roots stage! Adding some righteous behaviour to more than 20 stages, mega soundsystems, non-stop parties and 24-hour escapism in 10 fields of wonderment, The Reggae Roots stage will be dedicated to the myriad flavours of reggae, from ska, rock steady and ragga to dub, dancehall and junglist riddims, with cool operators making sweet selections without objection.

Hop Farm Music Festival reveals all... Following the recent announcement of dance diva and living legend, Grace Jones as their UK Festival Exclusive Sunday Headliner, Hop Farm Music Festival are set to reveal the final acts completing this year’s bumper line-up. With Russell Kane topping Sunday’s comedy bill and Nerina Pallot and Noisettes completing the music line-up, plus a wealth of enticing attractions, this July 4th-6th at Hop Farm is set to be the re-booted festival’s best year ever.

VISIONS Festival announces further acts for 2014... Today’s announcement sees psychedelic doom band Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats announced for a special intimate stage headline slot, completing a mouth-watering bill of heavier sounds with Andrew WK, The Fat White Family, Eagulls, Perfect Pussy and more. Another stage headliner is announced for a unique performance – Seattle’s Perfume Genius, returning for a UK one-off full band show. Fiery Furnaces singer Eleanor Friedberger also joins the bill for a one-off London date, her first for some time. Elsewhere the festival is thrilled to announce Canadian synth-pop band Trust, a UK debut for New Zealand blog-hypes Yumi Zouma and newly Matador-signed Copenhagan punks Lower. Manchester’s rising talent Kiran Leonard also joins the bill. Finally, London’s Deptforth Goth will play a special opening set at the festival, his first full performance since his sell-out Union Chapel show at the end of last year.

Frank Turner to play rare solo show at Live At Leeds 2014... With a lineup already filled to the brim with emerging and established talent Live At Leeds are ecstatic to announce the addition of Frank Turner to this year’s lineup for a rare solo performance. Slotting into a lineup already including the likes of ¡Forward, Russia!, Albert Hammond Jr, Bipolar Sunshine, Blood Red Shoes, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Chloe Howl, Circa Waves, Clean Bandit, Courntey Barnett, Drenge, Ella Eyre, Fuck Buttons, Royal Blood and The Hold Steady this year is the strongest lineup yet.

The legendary Isle of Wight Festival has now sold out of day tickets for Saturday 14th June 2014... Featuring the only UK performance of the year from Red Hot Chili Peppers. Taking place between 12th - 15th June, the line up also boasts headline appearances from Kings of Leon and Biffy Clyro, plus Calvin Harris who closes the show on Friday night. Everywhere Festival returns... After selling out their inaugural event last year, dollop return with EVERYWHERE once again, taking place across a multitude of Nottingham's best venues on May 4th. Everywhere’s sister event in London (ELSEWHERE) takes place in various Hackney venues on May 2nd – May 3rd. Line up features Mike Skinner, Skream, Artwork, Hudson Mohawke and lots more so far.

Camden Crawl announces more names... This summer, the multi-award winning festival is back after an extended break, bringing a brilliantly varied and colourful roster to Camden on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st June. New lineup announcements: Orbital's Phil Hartnoll, Laurel Halo, E.M.M.A, D/R/U/G/S, The Physics House Band, ABC, Hot Chip's Alexis Taylor and much more.

OnBlackheath festival, 13&14 Sept, new artists announced - Imelda May, Aloe Blacc, Athlete, Levellers, Young Fathers, Joe Goddard and Slow Club The organisers of OnBlackheath, in partnership with John Lewis, are pleased to announce a host of new artists confirmed for the first ever festival on Blackheath Common, taking place Saturday 13 & Sunday 14 September 2014. Joining headliner Massive Attack on the Saturday will be chart topping soul sensation Aloe Blacc, hip-hop electro Young Fathers and Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard performing a DJ set. Plus a very special guest announcement will be coming soon. Irish rockabilly queen Imelda May, festival favourites Levellers, indie rockers Athlete and hotly tipped Brit folk rockers Slow Club have been added to the bill and joining Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls on the Sunday.
