NEIL MARCH RETURNS WITH SINGLE

UK composer Neil March is primarily known for deriving pitch from environmental noise and using it to create harmonising layers. These are subsequently juxtaposed against notates instruments to create his Environmental Art Music. New single 'Street Recordings (Part 1)' has all these characteristics, the church bells and sounds of machinery, traffic engines and street level ambience mixing in with rich orchestration and climatic thematic material. The track is a taster for an EP expected later in 2021; a follow-up to 2020's highly acclaimed 'Alternatives To Despair'. Striking, evocative and strangely calming, it leaves me hungry for more. The EP should be worth the wait.
