Silent Cities is the alias of experimental recording artist, Simon Maddison. Originally from County Durham he has built up a cult following amongst listeners and industry figures alike.

This is a haunting, yet alluring brand of ambient, world-like, dream pop.

Supported by Tom Robinson and his team at BBC 6 Music in 2012. Simon was eventually quoted by Lauren Laverne as sounding like a "Geordie Jeff Buckley". High praise indeed.
We predict good things for this excellent fellow.
