Shiners First Ever Gig Leaves London Wanting More

Remember that band The Rapture?  Who did the theme song to the TV Show Misfits?  Yeah, they were pretty cool.  Now imagine a band that have a similar sound but so much more potential and a bloody good crowd for their first ever gig.

Got that? Right, now may I introduce you to Shiners, this London based band played their first ever gig last night at the cool venue The Victoria in Dalston. With a supporting slot to Movie, Shiners did a great job in attracting the crowd and playing professionally with their sound being tight and faultless (credits to The Victoria of course).  Shiners create a Brit-pop sound that works perfectly for this time we're in, Indie, Rockers and Hipsters fill London and it’s a look and sound that is being regenerated, it seems we have been waiting for Shiners and they have finally been birthed upon us in this ever so fitting decade.

With the good looks and charming moves of the band it seems the only factor I can critique them on is that their set wasn’t long enough and where the hell is this EP I need to hear?  The potential that Shiners have is excellent and with positive comments left at the venue, the crowd asking “Who they were?” and “Where they could find their music?” proves that Shiners have made their mark.
