Introducing Lissy Taylor With Indie-Rock Debut EP 'Wildflowers'

If you're looking for some stormy, female-led indie-rock, then look no further than singer and songwriter Lissy Taylor. Hailing from Stoke-on-Trent, Taylor incorporates flavours of '90s indie-rock and contemporary Americana to set her introspective songwriting apart from the rest.

This is a consistent thread through her four-track debut EP, titled Wildflowers. For me, the best track on the EP is 'Mayday', a solid piece of pop-rock songwriting that teeters on the edge of self-destruction, but manages to maintain a steady pace and stop that proverbial emergency from spilling over into the margins. An impressive first offering from Lissy Taylor!
