It's directed by B. Joel Cran and produced by Chantelle Mussell & B. Joel Cran and released via Mussell Records. The video has a retro, fun, light-hearted, traditional 90’s theme, honky tonk kind of a Rockabilly feel and look.
"If You Ever Leave Me" hovered around as an idea for a song for about 30 years. Glenn Ellery is the primary writer and I remember us chatting about “If you ever leave me, can I come too?” as early as 1990. Glenn presented a rough demo and after some adjustments and alterations in the chorus and the bed tracks we produced what you’re about to hear. It’s a fun kind of a tongue-in-cheek look at traditional country music and we really enjoyed the process of taking it from rough demo to the finished song. We hope you like it!!
