KIALLA Harder With ‘Lies’ Music Video

Following the release of their latest album ‘RARE’, KIALLA is ready to debut their first music video shoot for the song “Lies”. Still only in the early stages of their career KIALLA refuses to be pigeonholed and explores various sounds and visual styles.

The sense of foreboding is apparent when listening to “Lies” and it becomes a swirl of distortions and complexities when visualized. The video was shot in Chicago, Illinois, where they reside and continue to find their artistic drive.

KIALLA is composed of KIA, a vocalist and producer, along with VIA, an early female artist with her roots in the Russian hip-hop community.

As “foreigners making illegal sounds”, the two are proud immigrants speaking truth to power with restless ambition. They are not defined by, but informed by their decisions and experiences as immigrants, and utilize this to startling effect.
