Be My Lover (Single)

Lauren Lucille

With an incredible vocal range and a spring in her step, London-based, Australian singer-songwriter Lauren Lucille has just released her latest single ‘Be my Lover’; a beautifully rendered pop song with a classical tone.

On her latest hard-hitting single, Lauren has teamed up with one of London’s top pop and jazz producers Troy Miller, who has worked with the likes of huge artists such as Amy Winehouse, Lianne La Havas, Gregory Porter, and Chaka Khan- to name a few.

The track speaks of something we’re all perhaps too familiar with- the lust-fuelled headache of falling in love with someone who’s unavailable, although, they never really seem to act that way. In other words, the good old ‘lead on’. ‘Be My Lover’ reflects that of an emotional journey of holding onto something that was never there to begin with.

Originally from Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, Lauren Lucille now lives in London. Enriched in the local music scene, she now performs at venues all over the city.

Lauren admits she got the idea for the track whilst riding on a bus at four AM after a night out with friends. It is these early morning thoughts however, that creates the raw energy that gives the song an unlikely punch.

‘Be My Lover’ is an intense pop track with an undertone of melodic jazz, and an enormous vocal velocity.

The music video for ‘Be My Lover’, set on the city streets of London town and is the feature track for Lauren Lucille’s upcoming album ‘Let Go’, due for release on March 2019.

With an abundance of brand new music coming your way from the talented Australian Jazz singer, the launch party for her new album ‘Let Go’ will kick off at the Toulouse Lautrec, Kennington on March 24.
