Nephew KEN's newest project "The Birth of Nephew" contains 12 tracks; that were all produced by Nephew KEN himself and featuring a verse from artist "Kingston the Barber" (on the album banger "Poverty"). The title of the project represents, the beginning of a new journey and the birthing of something new.
On the album art-work, Nephew KEN pays homage and tribute to his hometown hero Snoop Dogg and his late mother Carmen. Carmen introduced Nephew to varieties of music and showed him how to making beats at a young age. Snoop's 'Doggystyle' album happens to be one of the first albums that they shared together and listened to. I'll give this album an 8 out of 10
