Geniuser Back In 2018 With Brand New Single ‘Epiphany’

Epiphany (Single)

Geniuser

Geniuser’s music is certainly ahead of its time – their new single is no exception to that and will definitely pique your interest.

The ‘Epiphany’ opening can almost seem scary. While the single announces their new album arrival on June 22nd, the beginning of the song composed of a single didgeridoo note echoing in a metal tube generates a feeling at the antipodes of a classic summer track. But duo Geniuser exceptionally manages in just a few seconds to reach their main objective: attack your senses. Singer Michael Allen low and deep voice slowly takes you on a real journey, as if he’s narrating a story, sounding like Gainsbourg in timeless tune “Bonnie&Clyde”, and the instrumental strongly helps the understanding of it. As the loud resonating bass and repeating drum kicks in, Geniuser paints a dark, deranged and blurry atmosphere, in a Muse’s “Hysteria” video type of way. As a matter of fact, they are perfectly creating a perceptible visual representation here.

Geniuser makes the kind of music that could figure no problem in a Kubrick movie. Daring, intense, one-of-a-kind – the duo impressively overtakes musical boundaries, making us impatient to hear the full album.
