The Lux Lisbon Experience Arrives in London

With two sold out shows at The Lexington, Lux Lisbon are in high demand and it was a gig not to be forgotten...
Lux Lisbon performed two dates last weekend in North London and it was a rather odd night. Not because there were any faults or mishaps but because everything was ever so perfect. The venue itself is wonderful and fits excellently with the bands demand and proved that in the future they need a bigger one, the crowd- though slightly older than I anticipated but ultimately correlates with Lux Lisbon’s mature sound were eager and excited. But this unforgettable and perfect night was mainly down to the band.
Having sent an email prior to the gig which almost felt like instructions, describing what to expect on the night, with the stage times, an unexpected gift and witty language this invitation made the attendee feel welcomed and important. This idea had already put the band way ahead of many other debut bands as they have set a perfect example on how to respect your audience.
Lux Lisbon performed flawlessly with their sound on point and interactions with the crowd humorous yet appreciative. Pinnacle tracks such as “Demons You Show” and “Bullingdon Club” were amplified and executed by the bands extreme energy, they performed exceptionally together sharing the spotlight which proves they are a fantastic and hard working band.
More thought was put into this particular weekend with graphics playing on the wall behind with key lyrics and animations to entertain the crowd. Though the band have a good sound on their EP’s, I feel Lux Lisbon are essentially a great band live! To get a feel and idea of what this band are about, you need to see them live, as it’s not just a Lux Lisbon gig but a Lux Lisbon experience.
