Ready Player One (Single)
Adam RenZ
Rising electronic-pop artist Adam RenZ has officially hit start on a bold new chapter with the release of “Ready Player One”, the first single from his upcoming four-track EP, GAMEBOY.
Released across all major streaming platforms, the track introduces a futuristic sound palette driven by retro synths, glitched-out vocals, and an empowering narrative about reclaiming control.
Originally titled “Main Character Syndrome”, RP1 draws from a deeply personal place. The track chronicles his decision to stop supporting everyone else’s vision and start building his own, blending lyrical vulnerability with high-concept, cyberpunk-inspired production.
The single leans heavily into gaming culture and digital aesthetics, pairing a sonic nod to SEGA-era soundtracks with immersive vocal design that positions RenZ as both narrator and avatar. It’s a bold creative statement, setting the tone for the rest of GAMEBOY, which is expected to explore themes of identity, control, and self-empowerment.
Set to follow a waterfall release schedule throughout the year, GAMEBOY promises to cement RenZ as a visionary voice in the electro-pop landscape. With “Ready Player One”, he isn’t just playing the game—he’s redesigning it from the inside out.
