Christmas at Home (Single)
The IT City
The It City delivers a tender slice of holiday magic with their latest single "Christmas At Home", a song that feels like sipping hot cocoa by the fire while snow quietly falls outside.
It’s a great blend of timeless melodies and modern warmth, the kind of holiday track that effortlessly earns a spot on your perennial Christmas playlist.
This track takes influences from the likes of Vince Guaraldi’s A Charlie Brown Christmas and classic staples such as “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” exuding a nostalgia.
Initially imagined as a cozy jazz quartet arrangement, "Christmas At Home" evolved into something even grander, incorporating an eight-piece horn section, vibraphone, strings, and a full choir.
This lush instrumentation is paired with warming lyrics that explore the connection and all of the small joys that make the holiday season so special.
The live acoustic version was recorded at The Hilson Studio in Nashville. The trio’s intimate performance is paired with warm harmonies and delicate instrumentation.
And The It City are continuing prove themselves as more than just a band - they tell stories that bring music to life with real authentic depth.
With "Christmas At Home", they’ve created a song that reminds us to savor the moment and cherish the connections that matter the most during the holidays.
