If you’re an avid follower of the Scandinavian music scene you’ll be very familiar with Hannah Schneider. Having released her first self-titled album back in 2009 the Danish starlet has made a name for herself in and around her native Copenhagen amassing an incredibly loyal fan-base.
It comes as no surprise she’s risen in statue and continued to record some of the most delicate and enchanting music we’ve come across. A personal favorite is her sublime track “Life Is Easy” which helped propel her 2014 album ‘Red Lines’ to an even wider audience.
We invited Hannah to put on a special performance for the Subba-Cultcha festive party and were blown away by her set. With only the aid of a small keyboard Hannah produces some of the most dramatic and enthralling music possible. Those who were unfamiliar with her were captivated and converted into fans, many stating her dream like performance was almost hypnotic.
The morning after the night before and with strong coffees in hand, I had a quick catch up with Hannah to find out a little more about what makes her tick, what 2016 has in store and whether she ever gets bored of being so creative…
