Old Subbacultcha

Bruising, ballsy Californian rock, anyone?

SUBBA-CULTCHA.COM SAYS: "A classic power-trio, California’s Kyng do bluesy, no frills rock far better than most. Settling on a concoction of pummelling riffs and gutsy vocals, the band have already crafted plenty of seriously heavy – and seriously catchy – anthems in waiting, ‘Burn The Serum’ among their strongest to date. There are hints of everything from stoner to vintage metal in their heady brew: gritty enough to impress metalheads, yet boasting the kind of formidable melodic drive that draws crossover success. Give the excellent ‘Burn The Serum’ (taken from their new album of the same name) a spin below, and keep an eye out for further coverage."
Kyng Southern California rock trio
Kyng will release their new studio album,
Burn The Serum (
Razor & Tie) on
April 14th
Burn The Serum was produced by
Andrew Alekel (Foo Fighters, No Doubt, Queens of The Stone Age, Clutch) and
James A. Rota (Sound City). On their second full-length album and first for
Razor & Tie, the band harks back to the essence of heavy rock 'n' roll, forging thunderous percussion to lightning hot riffs driven by a divine vocal howl. They’ve  hit the road with everybody from The Sword and Clutch - even being picked to play at Metallica's first-ever
Orion Music + More festival.
