Marsha Swanson Releases "In Touch"

In Touch (Single)

Marsha Swanson

Marsha Swanson, the London-based progressive pop singer and songwriter surprises me immensely with her new release, "In Touch". The track is from her album, "Near Life Experience", which despite being released early in the year, is still going strong in terms of popularity.

"In Touch" is a rather special and unique track given that it is not conventional. Moreover, it has a secret track within it which if you have not noticed the lengthy song duration, will take you by surprise. In fact, you may miss it if you skip away too quickly! Therefore, if you are listening for the first time, hang around once it appears to end because you are in for a gift as to what follows.

The track is particularly heartfelt. There is a spoken poem in the intro which really get the hairs propelling skyward on the necks back. It is a track all about life and the passage of time and the narrative is perfectly delivered by three generations of women.

Overall, "In Touch" by Marsha Swanson is not only proof that she is one of the most compelling singer-songwriters gracing the air currently, but it also proves that by thinking outside of the box, you can create something which is highly memorable.
